Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your coaching session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or reschedules occurring within 24 hours, or in the event of a no-show identified as 15-minutes past scheduled start time of session, will result in one session being deducted from your coaching session package

I offer the option of online consultations via Zoom or by phone. Phone consultations can take place over skype or Facetime.

Yes, I usually ask for a 3-day food diary before consultation to ascertain the success of the agreed health plan. The more details you provide, the better it is to evaluate your accurate caloric intake and the nutritional quality of your diet. A detailed 3-day food diary should be a good representation of how you eat most of the time.

Almost everyone who comes to see me has one of their goals to lose weight. While many individuals do lose weight when they start working with me, some may lose weight faster than the others. Often sustainable weight loss comes as a result of long-term healthy nutrition and lifestyle practices.

BMI is also not a good marker of health, as it does not look at fat distribution, waist circumference, muscle mass, ethnicity, and body setpoint weight which is determined by genetics. By learning to listen to your body’s nutritional needs, hunger cues and forming a healthier relationship with food, you will likely start noticing other positive changes in addition to weight loss like feeling healthier, more vibrant, improved mood, less cravings, clothes fitting better, sleeping soundly, or having more energy.

Just because you did not reach your “ideal weight” does not mean you failed. Weight is just one aspect of living a healthier lifestyle, but there are a lot of other more meaningful ways to measure this as well.

Although, the approach of “Food First” is used, there may be instances where use of positive supplements may be beneficial to achieve your health goals. If you are on prescription medications and may need supplements then you will have to check with your GP. In any case, you do not follow up after initial consultations, you need to stop using any prescribed supplements within one month.

Yes, they are the same roles, but different titles, aim of a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach is to educate and inspire individuals and groups towards long term nutrition and lifestyle changes for improved health and wellbeing. A nutrition and lifestyle coach has specialized knowledge and practical skills in diet, nutrition and lifestyle, and coaching skills.

There is abundant information in the media now for individuals to understand how to be ‘healthy’ but most of the information is conflicting, confusing, and mostly sensationalized. We cannot ignore that fact that everyone is different and generic messages about food and lifestyle often do not apply to, or work for, everyone.

As a Nutrition and lifestyle coach, I practically apply new information and research in the field of health, wellness, and longevity. Provide practical and personalized client specific dietary, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations. Help clients minimize the impact of unavoidable genetic, lifestyle and environmental influences. Moreover, I empower clients to be able to manage their own health in the long term.
